Time for curry
It’s Thursday night and I’m about to leave work and go for a curry at the Dorking Brasserie in – you’ve guessed it – Dorking Surrey. I think I’ve got the itch to head out for some spicey food as I’ve been writing about skiing in Kashmir for the November issue of Daily Mail Ski & Snowboard, and been editing a feature about ski touring in the area for our first issue which is on sale in early September.
Yup, we’re giving the area of lot of exposure in the magazine – you’ll even get a chance the chance to win a holiday there – but for very good reason. It’s home to the highest mountain range in the world and some of the lightest, fluffiest powder you’ll find on the planet. And of course some very impressive spicey food that I don’t think my local curry house will come close to matching. Still, it will help to bring back some very happy memories.

Awesome – I can’t believe I haven’t thought of this before. I love skiing and I love curry. Skiing in Kashmir – golden!
