Forum guidelines

Here are the guidelines for the Metrosnow.co.uk message board. These guidelines are in place to be observed by all users to enable this forum to be safe and fun for everyone.

All contributions must remain civil and tasteful at all times.

Any contributions considered to be disruptive, abusive or offensive will be deleted without any prior warning.  All posts must be constructive, polite and good spirited.  Any posts considered to be made purely with the intention of causing trouble will be modified or deleted at the moderators discretion.

Please do not respond to any posts that fit the above criteria, by doing so, even if your intentions are good, they could conflict with these guidelines and your post deleted.  If you are offended by any post, or feel attention needs to be drawn to any member, please contact the moderator who will take action if required.

No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.

Please remember that users of this forum are of all ages, nationalities and abilities, take care not to cause offence by generalization or assumptions.

No unlawful or objectionable content - unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.

Only post links and quotes that are relevant to these forums, please refrain from directly quoting any third party source (other websites/magazines) – doing so could result in your post being modified.  Ensure all information that is shared is done so with the permission of the owner of that information (in the case of quotes and web links).

Please try to keep topics on-topic, do not spam or make posts that have no relevance to the topic being discussed (aka high jacking a thread).  If a topic does veer off topic, either start a new thread (posting a link to alert those following the thread) or if it’s a discussion between only two people, consider switching the discussion to email or private messages.
