Daily Mail Ski & Snowboard - Subscription Terms and Conditions

VOS Media Ltd enables customers to pay by credit and debit card for both UK orders and credit card payments outside the UK. We also offer UK customers the opportunity to pay in convenient instalments by Direct Debit.

At the start of your subscription

Subscriptions will start with the next available issue which may take up to six weeks to arrive.

Free gift delivery

If you purchase an offer which has a free gift included, please allow up to 28 days for delivery of the gift, which is sent under separate cover from the magazine.Gifts are subject to availability and strictly limited on a first come first serve basis. If you bought thesubscription as a gift for someone else, any free gifts will be delivered to you, the purchaser. We are unable to send free gifts direct to the magazine recipient. We reserve the right to substitute the gift advertised for one of equal or greater value if circumstances require. In some cases, if a subscription offer includes a gift with a limited number available, no further gifts will be offered to those subscriptions received after the limit has been exceeded. Please check the terms and conditions of the specific offer at the time of ordering. However all other discounts on the subscription price remain applicable. Please note that due to high costs of delivery most free gifts are not available to subscribers living outside the UK – see the relevant offer page for details.

Delivery

We will deliver the magazines to the address you notify to us when you place your order. Orders purchased as a gift before 10th December 2011 will start with the February 2012 issue published in January.  All gift orders purchased after this date will begin with the first available issue.  Orders purchased for yourself will start with the next available issue - please allow up to six weeks for delivery.  You agree that we will not be responsible for failure to deliver the magazines if you have supplied us with an incorrect address. We reserve the right to dispose of incorrectly addressed envelopes and their contents without an obligation to refund you or any other person if they are returned to us and despite efforts to contact you we do not receive correct address details.

Credit/Debit Card offers

Credit/Debit Card offers are usually for a minimum period of 12 months. If the offer period is different then the offer period / number of issues will be shown on the offer page.

Direct Debit offers

We ask that you enter into a Direct Debit agreement with the intention that your subscription will continue for a minimum period of 12 months, even if the frequency of payment is for a shorter period (for example, quarterly). However, you will still have the right to cancel your Direct Debit in accordance with Direct Debit Guarantee below if you so desire. If you do cancel, you will receive only the issues you have already paid for. If a gift is included as part of the subscription offer we reserve the right to request the return of the gift in the event of an early cancellation of the subscription.

Direct Debit trial offers

Some Direct Debit offers have a reduced price for a trial period. We ask that you enter into the Direct Debit agreement with the intention that your subscription will continue for at least 12 months, even if the frequency of payment is for a shorter period (for example, quarterly). However, you will still have the right to cancel your Direct Debit in accordance with Direct Debit Guarantee below if you so desire. If you do cancel, you will receive only the issues you have already paid for. If a gift is included as part of the subscription offer, we reserve the right to request the return of the gift/value of the gift in the event of an early cancellation of the subscription.

The Direct Debit Guarantee

The amount paid by Direct Debit may change over time. If and when it does you will be notified in advance by at least 10 days. If an error is made by VOS Media Ltd or by bank/building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund. You can cancel the Direct Debit at any time by writing to your bank/building society and send a copy to ourselves at: Magazine Subscriptions, Tower House, Sovereign Park, Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE94 7ZT. Please note that banks and building societies may not accept Direct Debit instructions from some types of account.

Cancellation & Refunds Policy

An initial 12 month non-refundable contract applies. Unless written notice is given before the end of the initial term, the subscription will continue as a rolling 12 month non-refundable contract.

Covermounts

If any of our magazines are put on sale in the UK containing a covermount gift or a supplement, you are not guaranteed to receive these covermounts or supplements. Magazines delivered to overseas addresses may not contain covermount gifts or supplements.

Use of Personal Information

We use the personal and transactional information (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, credit card details) ("Personal Information") you supply to us in order to fulfil your subscription order.

On the online order form we will ask you about receiving details of our products and services and/or those of third parties which may be of interest to you. You should tick the relevant boxes to indicate whether or not you wish to receive such information.

Unauthorised access to personal information

Unless a member of our staff has been fraudulent or negligent, we will not be liable to you for any losses you may suffer as a result of unauthorised access by a third party to the information (including in particular credit/debit card details) you transmit when you place an order. It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your own credit/debit card details to avoid unauthorised use

Liability

Our liability to you in the event of magazines being lost in despatch shall at our discretion, be limited either to replacement of the missing issues or refund of the cost of the missing issues.

To the extent permitted by law we exclude all other liability to you. Our exclusions of liability shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of any of our employees or agents.

Delay in delivery and non-delivery

We will not be liable to you for any delay in delivery or non-delivery of magazines in the following circumstances:

• Where the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us;

• Where such delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our control or the control of our sub–contractors and agents, including but not restricted to war, electricity power failure, utilities failure, failure of telecommunications links, failure of transport infrastructure, fire, flood, government act, act of God, legislative constraints, strikes, labour disputes or malicious damage involving employees.

These Terms and Conditions do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
