Ice Skating & Curling Lanes

Back by popular demand the Ice Rink and Curling Lanes return to the show. Take a whizz round the rink and challenge a friend on the curling lanes all free after admission to the show!

Snow tubing

Here’s a great activity for kids and families. Grab a snow tube and slide down REAL SNOW outside the front of the show. What better way to start the families half term with free attractions that are sure to put a smile on everyone’s face thanks to the experts at SNO!zone and 30 tonnes of real snow! (Only available Saturday and Sunday).

The Aosta Valley Rodeo

Take a wild west rodeo, replace the bull with a huge cow, and replace a dusty ranch with lush alpine pastures and you get the Aosta Valley Rodeo! Time trials will determine who tops the leaderboard, with prizes galore for the riders who can hold on the longest. Be sure to have a chat to the Aosta team about their wonderful valley, which could just be the perfect destination for your holidays this winter.

K2 Highest Ollie Tournament

Born from the world of skateboarding, an “ollie” is the art of using a snowboard to pop up into the air without having to take off from a kicker. The K2 Highest Ollie Tournament is like the high jump for snowboarders, is huge fun, and you can have a go whether you’re a beginner or experienced rider. The top snowboarders last year were making it over some huge heights, so even if you’re not really the ollie-ing kind, come along and watch the fun and even pick up tips from the UK's Ben Kilner, Vancouver Winter Olympic Half Pipe competitor.

Pierre & Vacances Petanque Piste

Pentanque, or boules as it’s commonly known, is one of the most popular pastimes in France. Take the pace down a little (especially if you’ve just competed on the Aosta Rodeo!) and challenge your friends to a game of boules. The Petanque piste is hosted by Pierre & Vacances, who offer holidays throughout the Alps and Pyrenees, so have a chat to the team and this could be the most relaxing way ever of organising your next winter holiday.
